Ivan L. Riley

Pastor Ivan L. Riley is a native of Maywood, Illinois.  He attended Irving and Proviso East High Schools.  He was a long time member of Miracle Revival Center Church of God in Christ, where the founding Pastor is Bishop Willie J. Chambliss.  Pastor Riley answered the call of God in 1996, to launch a Youth Mentoring Program called “The Rites of Passage,” in Maywood.  After the generous donation of a facility which was located on 5th Avenue (the former Maywood Animal Hospital) by Ms. Camille Sassu; weekly Bible Study and Prayer culminated into what is now the House That Love Built Ministries (HTLB).  He was ordained as a Pastor in February 1999, and later ordained in August 2004 under the Apostolic leadership of Apostle Janice Agnew of JAM Ministry.  Pastor Riley will also receive his Doctorate of Divinity from the American Institute of Holistic Theology in 2007.  His motto is to see no one hungry, no one homeless and no one helpless.  He is a dynamic teacher and motivational speaker, and teaches and speaks to audiences all over Illinois.  He strives to positively impact those who come within his sphere.  His innovative approach to ministry has drawn many youth & young adults to HTLB.  Pastor Riley is unapologetically Christian and continues to teach and preach the uncompromised Gospel of the Kingdom.
